Hair Transplant

In today’s conditions, most people experience hair loss and baldness problems, mainly due to genetics and stress, and consider hair transplantation. Although it is far from a problem for some people, hair problems can be disturbing for many people. In addition to genetic and stress-related causes, metabolic changes experienced by women, nutritional disorders, excessive weight gain and loss, drug use and heavy treatments can also be effective in hair loss. While looking for a solution to these, many things such as some herbal and chemical drugs, cures, shampoos and lotions, and serums on the market can be tried. However, the reliability and permanence of these things has not been proven yet. Instead of looking for a solution in this way, you can choose completely permanent and medically proven hair transplantation methods thanks to advancing technology.

Hair transplantation is the process of transferring the hair taken from the strong and genetically non-shedding hair area of the person to the bald area in a sterile and operating room environment. While it was performed for the results of male pattern hair loss in the first years of its application, it is also used for many women today. The hair collected in this application is called graft and is taken from the area that is genetically coded not to fall out. The area where this hair is dense is called the donor area. Since the grafts collected from here are resistant to shedding, they do not lose their properties and protect their genes even if they are applied to the area with hair loss. In other words, as it is thought, the loss or non-shedding of the hair is not related to the skin or a certain area, but to the hair follicle. In addition to hair transplantation, eyelashes, eyebrows, sideburns,

Hair loss has nothing to do with using products such as hair spray, gel, mousse, and brightener that we use in our daily life. Therefore, there is no harm in using such products after hair transplantation. If such damage had already occurred, the hair in the area used as the donor area would also have been affected by these substances and shed. A common cause of hair loss may be due to deficiencies in blood values, especially zinc and iron. Before hair transplantation, it is necessary to measure these values and, if any, to return these values to normal, first of all, the necessary treatments should be applied and then the hair transplant operation should be decided.

Hair Transplant Techniques

Hair Transplantation Techniques
Hair transplantation is done by two methods as FUT and FUE.

FUT Technique
In the FUT technique, the grafts are taken from the donor area as a cross section after local anesthesia is applied, and after the procedure, the donor area is closed by suturing the donor area. In this planting style, the recovery time is prolonged and a significant suture scar is left in the area where the transplant is made.

FUE Technique
In the FUE technique, the grafts collected one by one from the donor area are transferred to the transplantation area one by one. As a result of the procedure, no stitches are applied, so it does not leave a trace behind. Therefore, the FUE technique has gained popularity rapidly in recent years. After a seven-day healing process, the procedure is completed without leaving any traces on the skin.
